Want to buy the people you care about adorable, unique and thoughtful gifts for Valentine's Day, but you're low on cash? Be sure to check out the Crafts and Kisses Valentine's Day gift fair this Sunday, Feb. 8.
The fair will take place at the Josephine Butler Parks Center at 2437 15th St NW next to Malcolm X/Meridian Hill Park, on Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm.
According to the Web site, 25 local crafters will be selling unusual handmade items and special gifts, including "handknit, sewn and screenprinted apparel for men/women/children; jewelry; valentines and cards; handmade books; soap and skincare products; handbags; handspun wool; pottery; leather belts and cuffs; and other items for walls/homes/wardrobes/bodies/
Also, there will be free goodie bags for the first 50 visitors.
If I make it out on Sunday, I'll be picking some of these sweet "Love is Blind" cards from Lucia of Blugrn Design.
