Elle Decor's cover feature this month is the home of Washington power couple George Stephanopoulos and Alexandra Wentworth.Honestly...not what I expected. But I kind of like it. The great thing about this house is that it doesn't take itself too seriously, and I think that reflects well on the owners. So many DC residences are obnoxiously stuffy, but this one is easy, breezy and carefree, with a fun mix of high and low, new and old, neutral and bold. You can tell people actually live here.
Case in point: Wentworth's collection of sea fans and shells -- not exactly typical Potomac chic.
