I received some eye candy in the mail today courtesy of
Williams Sonoma Home. The prices are certainly, um...aspirational, but I love this catalog for its effortlessly luxe and relaxed vibe. Some of my favorites are below:
Cap-Ferrat Damask Duvet Cover and Shams: Gorgeous, simple and classic, like a free trip to the Luberon. Ok, not free -- pricing ranges from $88-498 -- but I'm pretty sure it's still cheaper than buying a cottage in Provence.
Perno Floor Lamp: One of things that makes WS Home special is the way they fuse modern and traditional design. It's never sterile and it's never cloying. Pieces like this lamp are the perfect counterpoint to some of their more traditional patterns and silhouettes, like the bedding shown above, or the wingback chair it's paired with here.
St. Helena Dresser: I have a feeling Shaker design will be big in 09 and this dresser is just perfect.
Golden Poppy Oushak Rug: One of my latest obessions are textiles that look like they've been bleached out by the sun over the years. The colors in this rug are even more vibrant printed in the catalog and I would love to see it layered over a textured, neutral rug.
